GAFC-Group Adult Foster Care

The Group Adult Foster Care (GAFC) Program at MetroCare offers comprehensive support for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Our services include personal care, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, meal preparation, and laundry. This program is designed to help individuals maintain their independence while receiving the care they need in their own homes.

To qualify for the GAFC Program, clients must be MassHealth recipients, 22 years of age or older, have a medical diagnosis, require daily assistance with personal care, and have approval from their physician. Once eligibility is confirmed, MetroCare will provide clients with a qualified caregiver that best fits their needs. The caregiver will come to your home to provide the necessary services, ensuring all your personal care needs are met.
