A caregiver is someone who helps adults with daily activities when they need support due to illness, disability, or aging. Caregivers provide physical support, ensuring the safety and well-being of those they care for. They play a big role in helping people stay independent and enjoy a better quality of life.

At MetroCare, we train caregivers to do their jobs well. They can provide care in homes and other places where help is needed.

Caregivers will be trained to:

1. Provide companionship for seniors and people with disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Help with daily tasks like dressing, bathing, or walking.
3. Support emotional needs and ensure their safety.
4. Manage mental and behavioral health needs, including care for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
5. Improve safety at home, like preventing falls.
6. Assist with medications, including giving reminders and refilling prescriptions.
7. Offer healthy meals and help with eating as needed.
8. Coordinate healthcare, such as setting up medical appointments and getting medications.
