MetroCare clients are adults over the age of 16 with chronic illnesses or disabilities who are unable to live safely alone and require help with their daily personal care needs.

Our clients live in the homes of qualified caregivers (who may be a family member but not a spouse or legal guardian) and have the support of our professional staff. It is our goal to keep our clients in their communities so they can continue to grow and thrive.

Clients must be eligible for MassHealth and must need assistance with at least one of the following Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

Financial assistance

MetroCare provides up to $1,500/month tax-free support and resources to eligible caregivers for quality at-home care.

Finding a caregiver

MetroCare connects you with qualified caregivers for personalized at-home or group home care.

Physical and mental disabilities

MetroCare provides tailored support and training for individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life.

Housing

MetroCare provides customized living arrangements and secure housing solutions for diverse needs.

Meals

MetroCare provides nutritious meals via MassHealth, offering hot and delivered options for seniors' dietary needs.

Transporation

MetroCare provides accessible transport services, ensuring safe, on-time travel for independence and community access
